Drugs implicated in fatal car wreck in Tennessee

A single car wreck on Wednesday, March 5, led to the death of a 40-year-old man, while the passenger in his car was seriously injured. The car wreck happened during the early evening like many other Tennessee accidents. According to reports, the accident happened around 9.30 p.m. near an intersection, when the car driven by the deceased swerved off the road. Following this, the car crashed into a stationary truck that was parked legally next to the side of the road.

The 40-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the accident scene. His 25-year-old female passenger was seriously injured and had to be airlifted to a nearby medical center. No further information regarding the severity of her injuries is currently available.
